Ashley Huynh (she/her) is a recent UCLA graduate and incoming medical student. Her academic and research interests include health services, medical education, and the intersection of visual arts in medicine.
She is a self-taught illustrator and graphic designer and has more than 10 years of experience using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. She has worked with culture night productions, non-profit organizations, physicians, and researchers to design logos, illustrations, and infographics.
Ashley also has a passion for educational equity across local, national, and global communities. Her experiences include: bridging gaps in undergraduate life sciences education, directing the training curriculum of a large clinical research organization, as well as co-founding and leading remote English lessons to healthcare workers across the globe in order to build local capacity and create long-term sustainable surgical care. Along with her passion for medicine, Ashley hopes to continue her interests in teaching and pedagogy as a clinician-educator.
